Description
Russia. Late 19th century. In the small Mennonite village of a German colony a newborn boy is found in a pig sty – an orphan with a living mother. Despite the pain and cruelty he had to endure, compassionate people do not let the child die. Unfortunately, they cannot always help him; his own mother repeatedly tries to kill her son. But almighty God has enough ways to protect even the doomed. And not only! He has a special future for the unwanted child. The boy experiences love in a foster family, reaches his new homeland in Canada and grows up to become a happily-married man.
